Sitting at the table for dinner, I was enjoying the company of my friends and the delicious food. We were having a great time laughing, talking and enjoying each other's company. One of my guy friends is in ROTC and at lunch today was telling me of the rules for knowing who your team is when you are out fighting. So tonight at dinner we were having a fun time doing the game back and forth along with the rest of the girls at the table. As we were walking home, me, him and the girls, I tossed my body and bumped one of my girl friends. This is a common thing, considering I like to mess with people and she bumps back. I then began to plan to bump my guy friend, the same one that I was talking to at dinner. I jumped and bumped into him and then my girl friend bumped into him too. Considering that he is in ROTC, he is very strong and does not move that much when bump him. As we continue to walk across the parking lot as we are heading home, I signal to my girl friend "1,2...3" to count down when we will bump into him again, and just as we are both going in for the kill, he steps backwards, she and I run into each other, and I fall on the concrete. I was so flabbergasted and there he was, the quiet guy who doesn't ever really say anything, laughing uncontrollably with his mouth open and unable to breath. I looked like an idiot, lying on the ground all befuddled. I stood up and just walked away while the rest of the group laughed.... yep that's karma for ya.

Well today was a pretty good day; went to a presidential/ trustee scholarship award's banquet. I was having a pretty nice time, talking with friends, meeting important Purdue people, and drinking punch. As the minutes went by we (Katie, Jessica, and I) would migrate to different parts of the room to talk to different important people; networking. But just as we were alone for a second, as I stood there with my hand on my hip and my cup in my hand, a pain-throbbing strike of fire shot down my shoulder which caused me to yell and drop my arm like a rag doll. As my friend and I stood there in uncontrollable laughter, an man came over and looked questionable at what just happened. So I began to explain, with my face as bright red as a cherry, that I just had an intense muscle spasm. He questioned if I had those frequently and I laughingly replied no. We then continued to talk about our major, hometowns, etc. while I tried to gain back my credibility and seem more mature than my muscle spasm made me out to be. We finished talking and the room was brought to attention that the speakers were about to get to the podium to being speaking to the audience. As the made people in suits, etc. migrated to the other side of the room, I stood in front of my friends and waited for the speakers to begin. They spoke about honor, accomplishment and success and continued to move from speaker to speaker until eventually the president of Purdue came to the podium and being to introduce another person of great importance. They spoke that he was an industrial engineer, went to Purdue on a GE scholarship, became the youngest vice president of GE, and owned his own company that ended up being worth more than GE. As they had finished introducing this very important person, I looked over to see a young man walk up to the podium and look out to the audience. His name was Keith and he is Purdue's president of the board of trustees, and he witnessed my very first muscle spasm... wow I just know how to make a good first impression. Witnessing things like this will never be forgotten in the life of Hannah Vosmeier.

So I have a never lacking life of entertainment, and today was the day that I finally decided to make my very first blog to just show to people what goes on in the life of Hannah Vosmeier.
Example 1: I was going to go to take a shower early tonight so that I would be able to complete my physics homework before the due date afterwards. I grabbed my towel, soap stuff, and flip-flops and headed off to the shower. I proceeded to brush my teeth, go to the bathroom, etc. then continued to the shower. As I walked into the shower room, I noticed that someone else was in there which created a problem considering that I usually took on my clothes, hung them up and then went into the shower, but because someone else was in there, I decided that I wouldn't want to change in front of them, so I took my clothes off in the shower. The girl then left, so I thought it would be okay to go and hang them up where I usually do and then take my shower....WRONG! As I was hanging up my panties, a girl from my floor whipped open the curtain and we both screamed. It might not even help the point that it is winter and I have not gone tanning in o'.... months... so I'm WHITE. As I run to my shower in hope that she does not see anymore than she already has, she shuts the curtain, and I just stand in my shower in disbelief of what just happened. Then quietly I hear..."Are you in?"... O' my gosh, "....Yeah, I'm in". Geeze how more awkward can it get?? Ugh.. So as i'm taking my shower, I decide that I'm going to start a blog of all of the laughable situations that happen to me. So as I finish my shower, which just happens to be at the exact time that the girl finishes her shower, I decide to just stand in the shower like and idiot and wait for her to leave because I don't want her to be able to put a face to the naked body that she just barged in on. So as I stand there awkwardly, I realize that she's taking freakin' forever... Ugh okay she finally finished and I proceed to gather my belongings and take the walk of shame back to my bedroom. I realize that this girl has seen more of me that anybody in my entire life.. great. She lives right across the hall from me, just goes to show that nothing is normal in the life of Hannah Vosmeier.
